HP released a firmware update on September 26, 2023 that impacts the HP inkjet cartridge range of 903/953.

How the firmware update is delivered:

• This is a push update and can be installed with minimal user intervention
• Installed cartridges will continue to operate but will not show ink levels
• All current chips and cartridges are impacted
• Galway Cartridge recommends all customers turn automatic updates off.
